Telcon is among the very few manufacturers to produce micro PCD tools. There are two groups of tools: Micro diamond drills and Micro PCD end-mills. The machining is carried out utilizing highly sophisticated technology to achieve very accurate and fine cutting edge.

The PCD micro drills, ranging from 0.4mm, are used for instance in semiconductors for drilling very tough materials like monocrystalline silicon and Quartz.

The PCD micro end-mills, ranging from 0.8mm, are used for machining of hard ceramic materials which are common in the semiconductors, due to their highest purity, such as Zirconia, Quartz, Single crystal silicon, Al2O3 and SiC.
